Paul Hattingh

In the year of about 2001/2002 Michael Harris, working with World Hope Ministries("WHM"), introduced his 'vision' into Kuthama Sinthumula Prison in Machado, Mpumalanga, South Africa. 525 Inmates signed up for the Spiritual Programme which includes a Bible placement 'idea' which the Lord showed Michael when he was in Prison in 2000 and which he then started to promote in 2000 after he recognized the great 'thirst' of Prisoners for Bibles in Prison. Paul thus came into contact with World Hope Ministries, as a Prisoner in Kuthama Sinthumula Prison at the time. To date there have been over 1,500 Inmates at Kuthama Sinthumula Prison who have been involved in the Spiritual Programme. On release from Prison Paul joined WHM. Paul has a wonderful Ministry. His 'passion' is to visit Prisoners in the holding cells at Police Stations and Courts and to introduce them to the Lord even before they are sentenced. Then if they are sentenced he follows up in the awaiting trial prison and throughout their term of sentence. We Praise the GOOD Lord for Paul.

In 1955 Meriel Harris gave her life to the Lord through a wonderful lady named Ella Jack at a SU camp. One of the Ministries which FC-OC 2007 partners with is SU. FC-OC 2007 sends kids to SU camps every year. SU rented the Rehabilitation Centre at 901/2 Marlboro Sandton, South-Africa - 52 - 4th Street for one year. During this time SU brought in a Church which is now in ‘full flow’ and growing. Praise the GOOD Lord. Reginald came from KZN to work with fc-oc2007 and SU at the Rehabilitation Centre. Reginald is a born again Christian who is out of Prison on parole. The Rosebank Union Church/Rays of Hope also came into the building thanks to SU. Praise the GOOD Lord.

RUC/ROH came into the property at 901/2 Marlboro Sandton, South-Africa - 52 - 4th Street as sub-tenants of SU for one year. For the second year RUC/ROH have rented the property directly from The Mazlen Trust. They are doing wonderful and outstanding work for the GOOD Lord and for the Community. 60 ladies from Alexandra are busy with an order for 700 bags alone. There is a vegetable garden established. There are plans to do other hands-on Training Courses at the property, including mechanics, welding, and so on. Praise the GOOD Lord. Michaelís anti apartheid art work is now on full display at the Rehabilitation Centre

Noseweek

In edition 87 January 2007 and edition 100 February 2008 noseweek revealed the heart-wrenching story of Michael Harris's epic 10 year 'fight' with a bank, the Directors, and their agents (Auditors, Lawyers and Estate Agents) Says Michael "I remain eternally grateful to Mr Martin Welz and Mr. Hans Muhlberg and to noseweek for revealing what this bank did to me and to my family and The Mazlen Trust. It helped to bring this bank to the negotiating table where things were not just settled - this bank also agreed to fund/sponsor the FC-OC 2007anti-crime and rehabilitation campaign, which is a Mazlen initiative. I Praise the GOOD Lord, for only He can do such a thing as this."
